Teaching with your life

by jacob bock

Good morning evangelists.

I just wanted to remind you of a few things concerning your position as leader.  Remember, you teach as much with your life as you do with your words.

  1. If you habitually show up late, you communicate that you don’t care.  Take your position seriously by being punctual.
  2. People are aware if you spend time in prayer.   Your life and your preaching reveal it.
  3. Living in holiness is a must: ontheredbox and offtheredbox.
  4. Your conversation reveals what is in your heart.
  5. Don’t ever go to bed if you have an unsettled issue in your heart toward someone.
  6. Be quick to apologize.
  7. Watch out for pride.  It will kill you.

People are watching you all the time.  Think if it, you stand on a box! They know who you are!

  • They watch you in the metro.
  • They see you at the university.
  • They listen in on your conversations.

You are teaching with your life as much as with your words.
