New Schedule

We have been at our new schedule now for two days. 8+8+8 That’s 8 hours of evangelism; 8 hours of prayer: 8 hours of coffee house. Total for two days, 16 hours of each.

My time on the street yesterday:

1. Man from Brazil has a relationship with God but is fed up totally with the evangelical church and the way church is run. He was encouraged to see us on the street.
2. Young man from Romania. No relationship with God, concerned about eternity. Got to pray for him.
3. Woman from Romania. Orthodox, no relationship with God except for a picture of Jesus she has. Her brother just died of cancer, her daughter miscarried, she just lost her job. All these bad things started happening when she started paying attention to the jesus picture. She is afraid to destroy it and asked If I would. I also prayed for her.
4. Gypsy man who says he attends church. Smelled of alcohol and while smoking his cigarette said he was mad at God because the wicked prosper and he, being such a good person, does not prosper. He was mad because God was not giving him what he deserved.
5. Young man from Dominican Republic. Grew up in church but has since fallen away from God. Senses that God is pursuing him. Wants to come back and talk more about how to get his life right with God.

Those were my conversations. Add to that over 20 other soul winners during the 8 hours, all having their own encounters with people on the street. Add to that the 12-15 evangelistic messages that were preached open-air and the hundreds that heard the Gospel via that method. Add to that the hundreds of tracts distributed doing the 8 hour period.

Can I tell you what it is like to be preaching ontheredbox and to look up at our prayer house and see an intercessor looking down on us, covering us in prayer?

How about the lady that one of our folks witnessed to on the street and then was brought up for a coffee so she could receive more ministry? I saw all that transpire as I stood at the prayer house window praying for our team.

Did I tell you about the African that came and asked for a New Testament in English? We told him to come back in an hour and we would get him one. He came back. He got one. He asked when our prayer house was open.

That was yesterday.

Let me finish this letter, take a shower, grab a bite to eat, get on the bus and head back to our ministry center. We open at two. What will God do today?
